Description

Are your employees,
·       Enthusiastic about working on new projects and initiatives?
·       Accountable to their coworkers?
·       Straightforward to admitting mistakes?
·       Readily providing useful information to their peers?
·     Solving everyday routine conflicts in productive ways?
·       Excited to continually learn new skills?
·       Sharing their good ideas?

Psychological safety is the shared belief of being able to bring your authentic self to work and take interpersonal risks. When a work team has a sense of psychological safety it allows team members to try new things, say new things, present ideas, make mistakes, learn that which is challenging, and make new connections. All of this promotes business productivity and innovation.
Psychological safety (PS) has been studied since the 1960s. Without PS you’ll never get the best out of people. Without PS employees spend their energies watching their backs, playing office politics and trying to “stay out of the way and out of trouble.”  Malfunctioning personalities thrive in environments low in PS.
How do you get buy-in that PS is an important concept and worth creating at your workplace?  Join HR consultant Teri Morning to learn about workplace psychological safety and how it can help your business.

Agenda

·       How to introduce the concept of PS to senior management.
·       The most important element of PS and how to create it.
·       12 ways to integrate PS into your workplace.
·       Coaching employees the PS way.
·       Leveraging PS during periods of change.
·       How PS can accelerate project management.
·       Introducing PS concepts into HR’s employee handbook
·       How PS can bolster and advance diversity programs.
·       Winning over old school traditional managers who think PS is “just for softies.”
