COURSE
DESCRIPTION: Serious
safety leaders agree that conducting a Job Safety Analysis for each
position in your operation is a good idea … and OSHA recommends you
do them under its General Duty Clause.
But anyone who’s ever conducted and written up a JSA knows how time
consuming the process can be. The good news is, there’s a way to
simplify JSAs -- and recruit others to share the workload. Using the
systematic approach we’ll discuss in this 60-minute webinar, you can
finally check JSAs off of your “to-do” list.
This program offers two key benefits:
- You’ll get a step-by-step plan
to conduct comprehensive JSAs -- including a sample written JSA
you can use as a model -- and
- You can invite supervisors to
listen in so they can learn the process and help shoulder some of
the burden.
Participants will learn:
- The many benefits of JSAs and why
they’re well worth the time and effort
- How JSAs contribute to injury
reduction as well as improved productivity and morale
- How to identify which jobs require
a JSA and which do not
- Who you should involve in the JSA
process
- The specific steps you should
follow to perform an effective JSA (through a series of real-world
examples)
- How to develop and implement a
written JSA program
Those who put off JSA’s often do so
because the process can seem overwhelming. This program will give you
the step-by-step guidance to finally get it done.
