Major and Planned Gifts 101 Live Session Plus Recording $119

Developing A Legacy Giving Society.

Often one of the last facets of fundraising to be incorporated by a nonprofit, planned giving has the capacity to provide organizations with a much-needed boost during a challenging year – often with “fall from the sky” funds. However, legacy giving requires a level of strategy and promotion that should not be ignored regardless of your development capacity.

In this webinar, you will learn about the key facets of planned giving as well as how to launch a legacy program in three easy steps. This webinar will include the following:

We will walk from start to finish through the following:
  • Detailing a strategic focus on incorporating Bequests: 80% of planned gifts take the form of bequests. A donor can make a charitable bequest via a trust, will, or estate plan.
  • Developing a robust legacy giving prospect list through examining giving patterns, donor inclinations, and demographics

  • - Launching a legacy giving program either through three simple steps or rolling out a more complex program

  • Cultivating other significant planned giving realms including IRA distributions,

  • Creating effective and comprehensive collateral materials and mailings to ensure a successful program

  • Boiler plate language that you can easily incorporate and tweak into all of your materials

Join us for this 75 minute seminar, which includes a Q&A and discussion of how you to best present your organization to key donors
