On December 22, 2017, President Trump signed broad tax reform legislation into law that, among other things, simplified and temporarily reduced the individual tax rate, increased the tax free transfer of wealth, permanently reduced the corporate tax rate, and made significant changes to the U.S. corporate and international tax system.
