With the implementation of Same Day ACH Payments (Faster Payments) the volume has increased dramatically for both credits and debits.

However, despite responses that emergency payroll is the best reason for using Same Day ACH credits, there are other uses for Same Day - it's just most financial institutions have not yet implemented these alternate uses of Same Day ACH.

There are many uses for Same Day debit Entries; this session will outline these uses and provide recommendations on how to implement so you and your customer can benefit from them.

The ACH Network is not the same as it used to be, things have changed. With the changes come faster payments, also known as Same Day ACH. This session will identify how this change has an impact on options available when sending and/or receiving payments. What's your strategy when offering payment solutions to your customers?

Learning Objectives:

  • Overview of Settlement vs. Funds Availability
  • Benefits of using Same Day ACH for B2B and A2A payment
  • Cost effectiveness of using ACH (compared to other payment methods)
  • Suggested business use - analysis of "Why Use ACH?"

Why Should You Attend:

There are so many options on how to send payments. As a financial institution you want to offer the best payment solutions for your customers. If you are already processing payroll for your customers, they are already using the ACH network. Adding ACH for the preferred payment when sending payments B2B (Business to Business) and A2A (Account to Account) provides cost effectiveness and faster settlement.

Learn how payments are paid by the type of payment they are; and which payments when received are processed first. Being aware of the Rules surrounding sending the different types of payments and the Rules on funds availability on the receiving side are vital and will be discussed in this session.
